Heritage Park

Heritage Park is Junction City's central public space located in the historic downtown district.

The park serves as the site for many community events, and is home to the largest free multi-day July 4th celebration in Kansas - Sundown Salute.

Many memorials paying tribute to our heritage are featured within the park. It is the perfect place to gather for remembrance of those who have sacrificed so much for our values and freedom today. Those memorials and features include:
